For many gamers, the evening does not end when the match does. The conversation carries on in a Discord server, and the downtime between sessions is spent catching up on the latest anime. Two subscriptions make both of those experiences noticeably better: Discord Nitro for the way you chat, stream and show up in your servers, and Crunchyroll Premium for watching anime without ads. Both are available as gaming subscription codes, which means no card details stored in yet another account.
In this guide we look at what each membership adds, which lengths are available and how to decide between a short trial run and a full year.
Discord Nitro: More From the Place Your Squad Lives
Discord is where many gaming groups organise matches, share clips and simply hang out. Nitro upgrades that experience with a set of extras that you notice every day:
- Custom emoji and stickers everywhere: use your favourite emoji from one server in any other server and in direct messages.
- Better streaming: share your gameplay with friends in higher quality when you go live in a voice channel.
- Larger uploads: send bigger clips and screenshots without compressing them first.
- Profile customisation: stand out with an animated avatar, a profile banner and themes.
- Server Boosts: Nitro includes boosts you can give to your favourite community to unlock perks for everyone.
Discord Nitro 1 Monat
One month is an easy way to try every Nitro perk, perhaps around a big game launch or a gaming weekend with friends. It also makes a thoughtful gift for a teammate.
Discord Nitro 12 Monate
A full year suits players who spend most evenings in Discord. You set it up once and keep your custom profile, boosts and upload limits all year without thinking about renewals.
Crunchyroll Premium Fan: Anime the Way You Want It
Crunchyroll is the home of a huge anime library, with series that arrive straight from Japan with subtitles and dubbed versions. The Premium Fan membership is designed for viewers who want the full experience:
- Unlimited anime without ads: watch entire seasons without interruptions.
- Subtitles and dubs: choose the version that suits you for each show.
- Store discounts: members get exclusive discounts in the Crunchyroll Store.
- Music videos and concerts: extra content for fans of anime soundtracks and artists.
If you already have a Fan membership, a Crunchyroll Premium code can be used on your existing account, so your watchlist and history stay exactly where they are.
Crunchyroll Premium Fan 1 Monat
Ideal for catching up on a single season or binge-watching a series a friend keeps recommending.
Crunchyroll Premium Fan 3 Monate
Three months covers a full anime season from the first episode to the finale, which makes it a popular middle ground.
Crunchyroll Premium Fan 12 Monate
The yearly option is for dedicated fans who follow several shows across every season and never want to miss a new episode.
Why Gamers Pair These Two
Gaming and anime share a lot of fans, and many of the most popular anime series have their own games, while plenty of games inspire anime adaptations. Discord servers often become the place where those fans talk about the latest episode, share fan art and plan watch parties. With Nitro you can stream an episode-night discussion in better quality and react with the custom emoji your server loves, and with Crunchyroll Premium Fan everyone can watch the same new episode without ads before the conversation starts.
Which Length Fits You
| Membership | Short option | Mid option | Long option |
|---|---|---|---|
| Discord Nitro | 1 month | – | 12 months |
| Crunchyroll Premium Fan | 1 month | 3 months | 12 months |
A simple rule of thumb: choose the short option to try a membership or as a gift, and the year-long option once you know it has become part of your routine. Many gamers combine both, using Discord with their squad during the week and settling in with anime at the weekend.
Both memberships also make easy gifts. A code can be sent by email in seconds, so it works just as well for a birthday as for a last-minute thank-you to the friend who always organises your gaming nights.
The Takeaway
Discord Nitro makes the time you spend with your gaming friends richer, and Crunchyroll Premium Fan turns your downtime into ad-free anime sessions. Pick the lengths that match how you play and watch, and a Nitro or Crunchyroll membership takes only a minute to activate.
Both memberships, in every length listed here, are available as instant digital codes from Startselect. If you are after more ideas for upgrading your gaming setup, new guides land regularly on BlogsBuddy.
